International flights
Mongolian Airlines, Air China, Korean Airlines
and Aeroflot of Russia operate year round flights to Ulaanbaatar
city from Berlin, Frankfurt, Moscow, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing
and Hong Kong.
Railway
Trans-Mongolian and Trans-Siberian railway connect Ulaanbaatar
city with Europe and Southern Asia.

In general, every foreigner visiting Mongolia needs
visas. However, thanks to bilateral agreements have
been concluded with some countries, this is not in case.
All types of visas can be obtained at Mongolian Embassies,
Consulates and Honorary Consulates. It is also possible
to obtain 30-day tourist and 7-day transit visas at
border point at “Buyant Ukhaa” airport of Ulaanbaatar,
Zamyn Uud city on Mongolian Chinese border and Sukhbaatar
city on Mongolian Russian border.

Visa fee - Fee for
Mongolian visas is around 25 USD. In case of obtaining
urgent visa at any of Mongolian diplomatic missions
or at the border points, the fee will be 50 USD and
30 USD respectively

Every traveler arriving
in Mongolia is to complete a custom declaration, which
should be returned at departure. This allows free import
and re-export of articles intended for personal use
for duration of stay.
